Quartz Analytics v3.1.0

Privacy-first web analytics in 2.1kb. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no consent banner required — because the script genuinely doesn't collect anything that needs one. One tag, four lines, a dashboard you can actually read.

01

2.1kb gzipped

Smaller than your favicon. Loads in under 40ms on 3G. Zero impact on your Lighthouse score.

02

No cookies

Not "cookieless by consent." Actually no cookies. Which means no banner, no consent flow, no GDPR paperwork.

03

Runs on CF Workers

Global edge deployment in one command. SQLite via D1, or your own Postgres. $0–5/month for most sites.

04

Real dashboards

Pageviews, referrers, countries, devices, UTM, goals, funnels. Readable charts, exportable data, keyboard shortcuts.

05

Public dashboards

Make any site's dashboard public with one click. Great for transparency pages, startup "build in public" moments.

06

Event tracking

quartz('event', 'signup') — no schema config, no plan gate. Events are first-class, not a premium feature.

FAQ

Why no cookies?

Because cookies drag the entire consent apparatus with them. Without cookies, you don't need a banner — and without a banner, your site is faster, cleaner, and a little more dignified.

How does it count unique visitors?

A daily-rotating hash of IP + user-agent + salt, stored in-memory for 24h then discarded. It's not a user ID — it's a statistical approximation good enough for analytics, useless for tracking.

Can I use it for paid sites / high-traffic?

Yes. We've seen Quartz run 150M events/month on a single D1 instance. Cloudflare's Workers plan handles the hot path for free up to ~10M req/month.

vs Plausible, Fathom, Umami?

Similar philosophy. Different tradeoffs: we ship a smaller tracker, we run on edge, we default to public/private dashboards, and we're one-time pricing — not subscription.

/ know your traffic without spying on it

2.1kb. No banner. No bullshit.

Exactly what was on the tin. No upsells, no tier gates, no "contact us for pricing" once I was in. Shipped in an afternoon and the docs were readable by a human.

I've bought half the catalogue at this point. The voice is consistent, the prices are honest, and the updates actually land. It's what indie shipping should look like.

Did what the page said it would do. Knocked off half a star because I wish there was a Windows native build — I'm on WSL and it works but feels like a workaround. Support replied to me in four hours.

I bought it at 11pm, downloaded it at 11:01pm, had it running at midnight. That's the whole review. Email went to a person who answered the next morning.

The amount of thought in the copy alone makes this worth the price. And that's before you get to the actual product. Rare to see this level of care at indie prices.

Swapped out my previous tool for this one last sprint. Fewer features, honestly — but the ones that are here are the ones I actually use. Don't miss the rest.
